Dholera Solar Park
A 5000 MW Dholera solar park project is being developed in two phases in DSIR, approximately 100 km from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. More than 11,000 ha of land is identified for the development of this solar park, which the Government of Gujarat owns. The construction of this massive 5000 MW solar park will attract an investment close to about `25,000 Cr. which will generate employment for more than 20,000 people.
How do we tackle the water crisis?
We work with local experts and community members to find the best sustainable solution in each place where we work, whether it’s a well, a piped system, a BioSand Filter, or a system for harvesting rainwater. And with every water point we fund, our partners coordinate sanitation and hygiene training, and establish a local Water Committee to help keep water flowing for years to come.
